Adil Dhalla and Barnabe Geis from the Centre for Social Innovation join us as our guests for the full program this week to discuss the CSI Agents of Change program. Specifically the 2017 cohort which is currently working with startups and innovators working on climate solutions. For disclosure purposes I must remind everyone that both of the hosts: Stefan and Daryn work for CSI.

Adil Dhalla is the Executive Director of the Centre for Social Innovation, He was also recently named a BALLE Fellow, awarded to local economy leaders who are creating the new economy, and was the first Muslim to ever receive the honour. In addition to his role at CSI, he Chairs the Board for the award-winning social enterprise the StopGap Foundation, and also co-founded Camp Reset, the acclaimed summer camp for adults that exists at the intersection of play and wellness.

Barnabe Geis is CSI’s Manager of Impact & Accelerators, Barnabe helps design and manage CSI’s acceleration programs and services, which accelerate the success and amplify the impact of promising social ventures. He also leads the development of two online platforms that will allow social entrepreneurs to measure their impact and connect to the supports of intermediaries across the province. Previously as CSI’s Communications Architect, Barnabe helped drive CSI’s internal and external communications. He is currently developing the Solutions Media Accelerator at CSI to support solutions journalists and media startups.
