Kinder Morgan Pipeline Comprehensive (602)

This week we focus on the Kinder Morgan Pipeline issue in order to give a comprehensive review of both the politics and the media representation. Dave Hostetter one of our producers, starts the show by outlining the history of the Kinder Morgan project. Saryn and Stefan then talk with Dave about the political issues surrounding the project.

After the break, Lauren Latour our east coast correspondent and fellow producer joins us by phone to discuss the media discussion taking place in Canada regarding the issue, with a specific mention of the difference in media exposure given to pipeline issues in the east coast. Saryn and Stefan chat with Lauren about the media conversation around this issue and try to diagnose how this is affecting the debate and the impact on the pipeline in public opinion and among activists.
